Here at Dothan House, we have all the comforts of home within a safe, secure environment. Maintaining the intimate warmth of home, we provide 24 hour care at all times. At Dothan House, we are dedicated to our residents by offering the very best of social and personal care and our staff are highly trained to deliver that care. We were even awarded as one of the top 20 care homes in 2014.

We follow person-centre care at Dothan House where we follow each individual needs and provide them with their own care package right for their need. We believe in offering choice and independence within our home and give our residents the care they require within their different needs, encouraging our residents to personalise their rooms as we know the value of being and feeling at home.

We also take pride in providing our residents with healthy and fulfilling meals, using good quality food cooked by our in-house chef. At Dothan House, we like to maintain physical and mental stimulation where we provide on-going activities such as exercise classes, baking classes, gardening classes, and many more activities. Our residents can also enjoy our secure garden area with wonderful views of our flowers and bird feeders.

We like to promote the real sense of family and community within our home. This is within our home itself with our residents and staff but also with our residents’ loved ones. At Dothan House, we encourage regular visits from our residents’ family and friends.
